Guest guest
HI Pat, Try telling them that the Social Security Act tells you that the Donor Insurance is not responsible and offer them the Section of the Act that supports it. Attached is the section that says that. Hope this helps, Thanks, Bill From: TxFinancialCoordinators [mailto:TxFinancialCoordinators ] On Behalf Of Hogan, Sent: Monday, November 03, 2008 4:43 PM To: TFC group (E-mail) Subject: Donor Claims Hi Folks, I have a liver donor ( from April 2007) whose claims are being denied for the transplsnt by the recipients insurance stating they need a denial from the donors insurance before they will pay them. We have been back and forth with them on this. I know this has been talked about in the past, but could you tell me how you have handled this at your centers? Thanks much!!
