Guest guest
LINDA: I HAD CHEMO AND RADIATION OVER 30 YEARS AGO. MY MOM SAID IT ONLY TOOK A COUPLE OF YEARS AND I WAS BAD TO NORMAL WITH ALL MY COUNTS-SO HOPEFULLY YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY. REGARDING YOUR SONS EARS-DON'T LET THE FLUID STAY TOO LONG EVEN IF HE DOESN'T COMPLAIN OF PAIN. THE FLUID WILL ERODE THE BONES IN THE EAR AND CAUSE HEARING LOSS OR DEAFNESS. IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN TO AN ENT, YOU MIGHT THINK ABOUT IT. SANDRA. , MOTHER TO PARKER (2, IGG DEF)

Guest guest
: Thanks for the encouragement about and the chemo. It's good to know that there are others out there who are doing well that long after treatment. 's immunologist believes that he is a " borderline " PID kid. His total IgG and subclass 1 were low after 3 months off IVIG, and with his history, we're just waiting to see what happens. As far as his ears go, he sees an ENT every 6 months and the ENT practice and the immunologist have a great repoire with each other--they actually consult each other on cases! has an appt. with his primary on Monday about some other concerns we have with him, so that's why the immunologist wasn't too concerned. We will then have his ears checked weekly until the fluid is gone. Thanks again-- --mom to , dysgammaglobulinemia, luekemia Re: immunology visit, ITP >From: T0872@... > >LINDA: > >I HAD CHEMO AND RADIATION OVER 30 YEARS AGO.
