Guest guest Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 My son has a double ear infection (due to seasonal allergies)and is on amoxicillan. He has been on a probiotic for quite some time... should I continue the probiotic while on the antibiotic? A friend of mine has a son with IBS and she said that you're not supposed to give probiotics with antibiotics. Instead, wait until after you finish the antibiotic and start the probiotics again.
