For those of you who didn’t catch it, a recording of the NPR announcement is attached. You can also listen to the full piece at this link: http://www.indabamusic.com/contests/show/yo-yomacontest I misunderstood that YoYo would only be picking from the top 10 from the ‘publicity contest’ that you voted in (thank you!), but he actually checked out all 356 of the entries, and we still won!!! The people running the website got pictures of and us ringers last night because we were ‘being considered’, so they could post it on the site, so that should pop up at some point. This is such a great boost for , an incredibly gifted composer, and handbells. But the coolest part in my opinion is I get to meet YoYo Ma! WOW! I can’t wait!
