Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I'm new to the group--I've been lurking?for just over a week now. I've been on an interesting " journey " (in my lawn chair)?this summer that started with The Omnivore's Dilemma and has gotten me all the way?to Nourishing Traditions. My sister recently told me about this board because I was driving her crazy with all my " how to " and " Is this supposed to be happening? " questions. I've been reading all the emails in the daily digest and have picked up so many interesting things already! I am wondering: 1. Where is Cesare's that everyone is talking about? 2. How do I find out about Barbara's kombucha classes? (I ran into someone from this board?at Seward co-op who told me about her classes.) 3. Can we come to the warehouse just to look around before we join? Or do we have to be a member even to get in the door? (I know you have to be a member to purchase anything.) Thank you! a
Guest guest
Hi a, Welcome to the group! Cesare's Wine Bar is located in Stillwater at 102 S 2nd St. I'm the head chef. We're all about the SLOW food movement, and sourcing as much local, organic, sustainable, humane, grass-fed, pasture raised ingredients as possible. While I can't say every single dish is going to be 100% WAPF friendly, I've been told you can get a good meal there! While I don't work at the warehouse, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to have a look around. There's also $10 day memberships (that goes towards your lifetime membership fee) available if you decide you want to buy something, and you probably will! As far as Barb's classes, I can't help you, but I'm sure she can chime in. I do know she makes some killer kombucha! I may be interested in a class as well.
