No procurement coverage

Hi Guys

I am working with a kidney patient who has ins. with

BCBS of LA. They informed me that patient has coverage for living donor acquisition

cost but not for procurement cost. Will Medicare as a secondary payer pay for procurement

if it is not covered under the patient plan. Pt does not have a living donor. He

wishes to be listed.
