Guest guest
I've found that a senna-based laxative helps me. Ex Lax is an example but most major drug stores have a lower-cost alternative in their own brand. Just compare labels. wrote: > I have been on oxycontin for over a year and never had any > problems having regular bowel movements. I also keep those icky glycerine suppositories at the ready. Someone posted, way back when, that they took a stool softener capsule every time they took a drug. I started doing that and it has helped. I also switched to Benefiber from the Metamucil type fibre drinks. It's a lot easier to get down, so I find I am more apt to use it. I can mix it in my coffee without even noticing it is there. It costs a little more, but I think it's worth it. -- Lyndi
Guest guest
You might want to try MiraLax. It doesn't interfere with any other medications, can be taken any time of day, doesn't taste like anything and definiftely helps with constipation..... www.miralax.com Jan cola989 wrote: I have tried that powder you add to drinks and stool softener tablets but nothing seems to be working. Guest guest
Howdy ya'll... Remember the old saying there is a silver lining in every cloud? The best cure for constipation for me is I have IBS, the kind without " it " . Kinda makes me almost normal. What a concept!!! Thought someone might get a kick out of this " side effect " of my pain meds. No clue how to make it work for you though. Good luck finding something that works. > You might want to try MiraLax.
