Hi ,

Zithromycin has brought our son's PANDAS issues under control nicely. His numbers are down in normal range again. Be sure you dose the antibiotics away from the probiotics. Also, you might want to delay chelation, at least briefly. If you start too many interventions at once it's hard to tell what is working and what is not. This is my opinion only.

THanks for the comments..how much azith are you taking?? Once a week or

daily?? We are only on a 5 day trial and I think we will need more! It

sounds like some kids need it daily..

We do 500mg once a week. It's a low, maintenance dose. You can't treat PANDAS in five days. We space all our interventions out by at least a week so we can tell what is working and what isn't. Also it's a good way to detect side effects.

So how many days to start? 10 days or a month? then go to weekly?
