Marie, a lot of MH folks mistake anxiety for a sign of depression and treat with

meds for depression that only peripherally treat the anxiety. It helps to

emphasize your KO background and hypervigilance, that it truly IS anxiety, not

depression. Many times the anxiety meds will allay the obsessive worrying,

hypervigilance, help nerves thus ridding us of depression, ironically. Have you

tried buspar or effexor, combo of those?- jana

What an ordeal! So drugs make things a lot worse for you, not

better. That seems really frustrating!

It strikes me that this topic connects to the subject of sensory

overload, since anxiety and hypersensitivity feed into each other.

In my own experience, the usefulness of regular excercise in

controlling the anxiety just cannot be overstated. It's so simple,

but it has an amazing effect.

Of course, you may already be doing that...
