I talked with today....she said they are trying to " build " her

up, so that she can heal...or withstand another surgery then heal.

She has a stubborn leak. The good thing when she went there they

thought she would need to be in ICU but found she wasn't quite as

bad as they thought and moved her to the next step down in care.

Also after tests they said the Leak wasn't as big as they thought it

was going to be. This give great hope that she can heal and

save her stomach. But they also said to expect to be there a couple

months. She is being tube fed and has a pic line, which she hated

getting it put in but now she is glad it is there. She goes to

rehab and she says they work her hard...it really takes alot out of

her....but says it is her job to do what she has to do to get

better. She had her surgery tummytuck/stomach revision Dec 2...so

it's just about been six months....lets pray that by next December

this will all be just a bad memory.

She says she gets a few cards and phone calls from her church family

and it really helps to lift her spirit. Makes the day/week not seem

as long. Her Mom tries to make it up there once a week but

struggles financially with making the trip.

I am trying to get an address of where Jamison is staying...my hopes

are that we can send him some care packages to make this separation

from mom just a tad eaiser....Things like calling cards so he can

call mom...who knows what wonderful ideas we can come up

with....even just a note saying " hang tight "
