I just heard from my sister, who heard from my aunt that my mother

said she " does not believe in the existence of mental illness " . I

figure this way she does not have to feel responsible for what she

has done and does not have to seek help for herself.

That sounds so very much like my mother. Except my mother says she isn't

crazy or mentally ill. SO I am just treating her as if she has all her

faculties & is just a _itch. Which means I stay away from her.

My nada says I am " too biased " to call her mentally ill! How's that for

rationalization?
