Guest guest
Hi Mark, I so agree with everything you have said. And I do connect with the problems you have getting out of bed in the morning. Between my hands, back, feet and shoulders I have to heft myself onto my side and start to inch myself to the side of the bed. That is if I can make it to the side of the bed, I feel like a hermit crab. Have you ever seen one? They make me laugh the way they run sideways. Don't you have anybody in Calif. who could help you get some med. herb? I tried it years ago and it made me so paranoid. But, that was in the 60's when the guys were coming home from Nam and it was all over the place and pure and strong. Feel better today. Guest guest
Have you considered putting your medication next to your bed with some water, then taking it when you wake up and maybe going back to sleep for a while? I hate mornings. I always wake up in pain. I can lay there hurting, and I know I have to get up, and take my methadone.
Guest guest
I have an alarm I can set for up to four different wake up times. When I'm going through a really bad patch I set my alarm for about an hour before I need to get up, take my meds and go back to sleep until the alarm goes off again. Usually that way I can move, making getting up far easier. And of course, the nightime meds are very important. Gotta sleep. Can't do it if I'm hurting too bad. Or at least not unless I'm totally exausted. A nurse I worked with once thought that people didn't feel pain in their sleep. But it gets incorperated into my dreams. No relief there. Guest guest
My new doctor, cut me from 210mg. to 200mg. of my meth, he can't get me the soma's that I have taken for over 2 years, and I have been on a roller coaster for over a month. I can't seem to smooth out on 200mg. Next time I won't try to drop 10mg. at once. But it is so much nicer than the methadone clinic! Thanks for the replies, Mark
