Guest guest
Hi All: I am asking members of this group to give me their opinion. What do you think I should tell other people who are members of this group? I have bought and read Understanding the Mother with BPD, and Stop Walking on Eggs -- the suggestions there are very good and I HAVE sucessfully applied them with some BPD's I know. However, I just have NOT been able to do any of the " negotiating " etc. with my own Nada. I just can't do it -- the whole thing is impossible for me. The only way I can function is to not even talk to her or read her letters. And that is what I am going to do from now on. Do you think I should keep telling people: " Good luck working things through, if I could do that I would. But I tried and it didn't work for me? " Or should I just not say anything? I don't want to feel like I am making people feel bad who want to work things out with their Nadas. Any suggestions? Thanks Barb T.
