Hi everyone,i hope you dont get tired reading this email because it's gonna be pretty long,Jeff? ty for the advice you gave me and thank you to everyone else for shooting straight with me,if you will remember i was going to a wound clinic to see if they could help me with my legs ,well they wrapped them in some gauze that was soaked in something, then an ace bandage and then a sock of some kind,i was to wear this until this coming Monday Feb. the 27,they were wrapped this past thursday Feb. 23? i think) and it did make them feel better until the middle of the night when i woke up with my legs about to itch me to death i had to cut the wrapping off and both my legs were one solid looked like under the shin rash and so red they looked like the blood would run out and also had this clear looking fluis leaking out of my legs, not just where the lesions were but up and down both legs, and they are both still leaking, and both still look like one big under the skin type rash but you can

feel the rash,in other words they still look just like they did the night i had to cut the wrapping off,one thing that is good news is my g.p. doctor gave me a pres. for perkocet and that helps more with the pain then anything else has, also my dermatologist gave me another kind of med.( this was a couple of days before i had the wrap done)the med.s is indomethacin 25 mg. 3xdaily, does anyone know anything about this? also they made some changes to some more meds. i have been on for a while, they cut me back to 2-1/2mg,s of predesone a day and upped imuran from 50mg. to 75mg a day of it,now i dont have any idea if it's med. or the wrap that made me worse..any suggestions?????,my home doctor G.P. told me this is the first case of pann. he has ever seeni dont know about the dermatelogist(sp) or the rhemutelogest they hae never said but i get the feeling they are working in the dark also,I just hope someone can find something to help me before too long,i have had several surgeries

including heart by-pass surg. but nothing can compare to this when it comes to pain that just comes and stays with you with no relief at all,one more thing i take several medecations for other things besides what i am on for this, does anyone think that would cause this?? and where is the nearest mayo clinic,or any place that is good? i have been to Kirkland Clinic in Birmingham,Al, and was so very disappointed in it,sorry this is so lengthy, Thanks everyone,God Bless all of you, Dot, thanks for all the response i have been getting,it sure makes you feel better to know there is someone out there that knows what you are going thru....erythema_nodosum_Group wrote: There are 16 messages in this issue.Topics in this digest:1. Your doctor should be responding to your pain and if he/she is not, you should find someone else immediately. The illness/underlying cause needs to be dealt with, but the pain and suffering you are experienceing is unacceptable. You should not be suffering the way you are, and I encourage you to be assertive with you health care providers. Pain is now considered the 5th vital sign and medical

professionals are obligated to address it.Good luck.DianeDot Pierce wrote: pleaseeeee can someone help me? i dont think i can take very much more of this, the pain is unbearable i have not slept in a week or longer,my legs are solid red from about 3 inches below the knees to the top my feet,i have lesions all over both legs, plus both legs are swollen and feel like they are on fire,i have had biopses done and been diagnosed as having panniculitis with underlying symptsom's of erythema_nodosum..i have been on predesone for well over a year now, also am on imuran now, along with some more med,s nothing is helping me,i have open lesions on both legs along with awful red sore knots that are killing me,the dr. has me on lorecet for the pain but it helps none at all i have tried staying off it and taking it,i cant find a lot of difference in it,I dont mean to sound melodramatic but i just dont think i can go on like this with this kind of pain much
