Guest guest
Hi Mel... I work in Medical Records at our local hospital, and with the new " HIPPA " laws that went into effect in April, Riverview Hospital is probably waiting on you to fill out a " Release of Information " form and then they will send your records to the other place. Maybe you can call Riverview to check. It is not supposed to take more than 7 business days to get your records to the other place. At least that's how it is at our hospital. Hope this helps- " HIPPA " has to do with new Federal Laws that went into effect regarding Patient Privacy, that may be why the delay...but I would definetly call them. Congrats on your approval and scheduled surg. in Sept!...Take Care...Deb :-) DS_Friends_Keshishian , MDL1031@a... wrote: > Hi Guys, > I figured I would let Jo and everyone know what was up.
