Guest guest
I hate to say it but my nada, being catholic, would have done the same thing. I also started going to a Baptist Church, and she claimed I had become a religious fanatic! I never said anything to her about my experience, but she assumed I was a zealot! She is always telling my sister (the good one), that she just wishes and prays I will come back to the " Church " ! My sister has remained catholic, but very rarely goes, unless nada comes for a visit...believe me ,religion is a big deal to her and it only makes me hate me more..c'est l'a vie! Guest guest
> She has to be in > such control and when she doesn't get her own way, she pouts, cries and acts > like a 2 year old! same with my mother > and she opened my linen closet and yelled at me how > messy it was! I then, proceded to empty the linen closet onto the floor and said > that I would now clean it and make it neat! > Well, she took off crying and walked around the block, making me feel so > darn guilty. (she really pissed me off, it was very unusual for me to act that > way). When she came back, she wouldn't speak to me, and when she was in the > bedroom I went in and apologized and went to give her a hug, and she wouldn't > let me hug her!!!!!!!! we were to have Thanksgiving dinner at my brothers and his wifes house on year. My brother had become a Morman ( for our Catholic upbringing) and invided 2 Mormans from their church. Mother found out about it, whent into a rage and stormed out. She was gone for hours. They finally found her at the train station, she was going to go back home !! I say let her go , but my brother had to uninvite his guests because of mother !! Guest guest
You know? My Aunts and family could never understand why my nada resented me..I have always known she resented me, but never knew why. Now that I am 55 years old, I absolutely know!!! It doesn't make it any easier, but at least I know. Now to leave on Thursday morning for my vacation with them is going to be a real trip! The " good " sister and I are driving them to NY from FL...it's funny, but when my sister (good) left to come to florida 22 years ago, she was only 18, nada had a nervous breakdown! Never could understand that, as she could have cared less when I left to come here 30 years ago....Amazing.............life goes on........... Have a wonderful day, Jeanette
