" Hi , I agree with everything you say here. That this EN illness takes fully functioning people and turns us into what it does is what is so frustrating for me. It is not like we were hurt in a tragic accident. Up until four years ago I loved getting into the summer veggie garden and flower garden. I used to turn the dirt with a pitchfork and shovel. I am probably one of the far and few that like to mow the lawn with a push mower. But since I have had EN it takes me forever to get a garden in. Thank goodness Steve bought us a tiller. He does that for me. Then together we put the plants in and lay the newspaper and straw to keep the weeds down. If not for that I would not bother with the garden at all anymore. We live in town for now. But, we bought a piece of land in the country with hopes of starting a small free range poultry/veggie farm. With my legs the way they are I don't know for sure if we will get that going. I will be the one to do most of the work during the day until Steve retires. That won't be for quite awhile. Anyway! We have been having a GREAT run on sunshine here, New York State, so I am wrapping the legs in bandages and go soak up some Vitamin D and happy raze! Enjoy your day, McU
