Guest guest Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Hi Joan, Well that makes two stores where banning led to creation of a new and improved group. I'm sure many groups were started the same way. Althought I have never been diagnosed with sarcoidosis, I too feel that I may have a "touch of it" because when I have a big EN flare up I can feel it in my lungs. It makes my breathing more of an effort--not a big effort, but enough so I can feel a distinct difference. It would not be a big leap to find that the tiny nanobacteria that are being investigated as the cause of sarc. could the the cause of all these related dosorders. They say a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, and maybe our genetics dictates how the nanobacteria affect us. It could help to explain why so many of us have inconclusive diagnosis and overlapping symptoms. You said "I need to talk about my WG in the context of my life, not as a discreet component." I have lived with EN for well over half my life, so I hardly do anything without first consultng my body to see if it has the energy, or if it is pushing myself too hard. The way it seems to be lurking in my body, EN is always in the back of my mind. Not to dwell on it, just to make better choices so I stay in remission as long as possible. Love, Quote
