Guest guest
<< I am a new member. I was diagnosed with myofascial pain in my neck and upper back, repetitive stress injury and thoracic outlet syndrome. I feel my myofascial pain is spreading because doctors don't know how to treat it. >> Hi Joanne, Just wanted to welcome you to the group...and to say I'm sorry for your pain. I wish I could give you some good info but I know nothing about your condition. If there is any place you will get info about your pain it would be from this great group of people. I think we have just about every kind of pain there is between all of us, so hopefully someone will step up and give you some good advise. At least you are in a group where people really understand chronic pain and are willing to listen and help when their pain permits. Take care, Ann
Guest guest
Hi Joanne, I also have Myofascial Pain Syndrome and I wanted to welcome you to the group. This is a wonderful place to share your thoughts, frustrations, and joys, as well as a sharing of great information. I have used Myofascial release therapy myslef and found it to be very helpful. I do alot of stretching exercises too. Your post reminded me of some other avenues that I wanted to explore myself. I look forward to getting to know you. Kathleen in Calif. Guest guest
Hi Joanne, My daughter has all the same injuries you have from repetitive motion. You are the first person that I have heard of that has thorasic outlet syndome. was operated on for that last Sept. and a rib was removed. She had no pulse to speak of in her right arm. Seems to be doing better now. She also has FMS. She is on all kind of med. even fentanol pops. Poor girl is miserable. If I can be of any help, let me know.
