It's been awhile. I've been posting to my blog little tid bits about my life, but nothing much about my health.

I've lost 17.2 lbs on Weight Watchers since Jan 9th. This has really helped me feel better. I'm still continuing to take my antibiotic daily, but I haven't had to take any pain medication or arthritis meds (Feldene??) in a month. It's been great. I had a wonderful time in Florida and spent many hours walking the beach, which was great for my legs. Since then, I've been swimming a couple times and the water feels wonderful. I need to do it more often.....just without kids!!! lol

Last week I spent 4 days spring cleaning my house from 8 am till 10 pm. I busted my butt and with the exception of feeling exhausted at days end, having some back aches and my feet feeling the stress of the day, I came through the week unscathed!! Waking up was hard....my legs and feet were a little stiff, but nothing that needed treatment.

I still have all my subcutaneous nodules. They just hang out quietly and don't bother me too much. I don't usually feel them unless I'm on my feet all day, but even then they aren't very painful. I wonder if they will ever go away? Even the ones I got when I weaned off the prednisone last December are still there....as well as the ones I got up until last month. They are still the same size...possibly even bigger and they still show up bright red/purple if I take a shower/bath.

The rash on my arms is gone. It does show up as a 'discoloration' in the shower, like my nodules, but otherwise it's not noticeable.

I wish this update could be all good news. Unfortunately, my 'mystery rash' (aka, Erythema marginatum from RF) has now appeared on my legs. My right leg first and now my left. They appeared much quicker than my arms did and have spread faster, too. I noticed it yesterday morning when I was putting on my socks. Then last night while taking a shower, I noticed more. Tiny bright red, flat blotches on my leg. I was hoping it was something else, but one has now begun its classic "ring" look...clearing from the center. And all are growing in size. SIGH!!!

I will be contacting my rheumo tomorrow. I'm feeling so much better. I don't want to get sick again. Just when I think I'm out of the woods, something else pops up.

I'll get through it. These last couple months have been a tremendous blessing. I've felt better than I have in a long time.
