Guest guest
Hi, everyone! I think I posted when I was originally diagnosed, but I'd be grateful for your input now that it's been a while. I have severe multiple allergies and controlled asthma. I was exposed to toxic and allergenic moulds early last year, and the EN on my lower legs began then, along with respiratory and other symptoms, such as severe fatigue. They also found reactive lymph nodes. It's been over a year, and I'm no longer exposed to the mould. I still have many allergies, as these existed before the mould exposure. I now develop one or two erythema nodosum nodules on my lower legs at a time. Much better than last year, but still there. Since I'm no longer exposed to what might have been the trigger, shouldn't the nodules be gone by now. Or does this sound like an idiopathic case in which the timing with the mould was a coincidence? Can EN be caused by severe allergies? My doctors have no idea. They're as in the dark as anyone. They tell me that they'll probably disappear in time, and we'll never know why they appeared. Thanks!
