hello,

I'm Wilbert live in Amsterdam and first worked on the BW about 30

years ago. I was astonished about how fast the muscles growed.

Because I was young then I didn't need to train as much as I do now.

Have a little overweight alover the body. A few years ago I saw BW2

in a secondhand market and bought it right away for a couple of dime.

A few days ago I downloaded the trainings sessions and have done some

training. Have a lot of muscle-pain allover the body so to say.

But it feels so good, didn't do anything with the boyd for years and

before you knwo it y're old and gret.

I will keep up the trainings until all the grease has left and the

boyd will be of a young prince.

Thank you guys for this site and maybe w'll talk to eachother about

some things we can learn from eachother.

Personally I think the Bullworker is best used a "supplimental" piece of equipment.

If your looking to really build some size and strength, plus endurance your going to have to adopt a more traditional method. Weight training combined with bodyweight exercises is probably the best route.

The Bullworker (used alone) is more suited to someone who hates to exercise but would still like to maintain tone and firmness. If you add in a 30min. daily walk you can achieve a minimal level of fitness.

A bit more challenging workout can be had by doing several reps isotonically and then holding the final rep for a isometric hold.

Hi, My name is Alan, I'm new to this group and would like to intoduce myself and ask a question. My first Bullworker was a Bullworker 2 (green handles) which I purchased from a distributor in New Jersey in 1971 for $39.95 This was pretty steep for a 11 year old but I wanted the muscles they promised. I also received a personal assessment from Len Sell (a British Bodybuilder from 1960-1970's) I still have my original exercise manual and I see by the progress chart that I filled out that in two weeks my arms went up 1/2" (from 9" -9.5", haha) Although I eventually stopped using the bullworker I been active in different forms of exercise and martial arts since then. Two years ago, during a hot weather spell, I didn't feel like doing my regular routine and decided to dig my bullworker out of the closet. I was very dissapointed to see that the traction ropes weaken and became slack. I searched on the internet and found a website, IndiaMart, which sold a Bullworker 3 (blue handles, even though I remember the Bullworker 3 that sold in the States had brown handles. I bought one for $10 USD + $29 shipping. I used it for a while and placed it with all my other fitness equipment. Well now another two years past and again I'm back with the bullworker, working out. My question to all the members is in the way they exercise. Do you just use the 7 second hold, do reps & hold the last one? Workout everyday, or rest between workouts? Supplement bullworker exercises with other exercises, with aerobics/cardio? I remember the one thing that makes me stop using the Bullworker is the lack of "the pump" that I get with weights. I'm interested in the different ways everyone workouts and look forward to sharing idea's and tips. Thanks,

Alan

Hey Rez, how are you?

I've had a Bullworker since I was 15- so 30 years. I think it's a pretty good little 'gizmo'. I do think it's best used to suppliment more standard methods of training.
