I was perscribed SSKI for my cough

before I was diagnosed with Wegener's.

It didn't help my cough and made me

break out in these disgusting pustule

things! I stopped taking it.

It's interesting that the article said that

SSKI should be avoided in patients allergic

to iodine. When I read that, I remembered

that I once broke out with an itchy rash

after betadyne was used on my skin before

surgery. I have avoided betadyne since

then, but I wonder if that's why I had

such a reaction to the SSKI.
