In my rather violent dream, the strep. infection was loose and running after people. Some of those tagged got very ill, but others were ok. The ill ones got sick with different things. They often recovered. Fast Forward: Many years later, those who were sickened by strep. got sick again with something else, usually worse. I did a GoodSearch and found this: http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/strep.htm Now looking at my own history, I do feel I am one of those who was suseptible to strep. My Dad had Scarlet Fever as a child. It nearly killed him. He suffered cellulitis in his old age. The years inbetween were very healthy. I had impetigo as a child. Now I have EN. << As a result of NIAID-supported research, the first group A streptococci vaccine clinical trial in 30 years was conducted.
