Guest guest Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I give up on Foo, Nada and all. I feel so much free-er! Sometimes I feel the familiar tugs at my guilt, sometimes I blame myself for these " failed relationships " -- but mostly I am just seeing life as it is -- and life as it never will be with them! I believe that idealism has its place, believe me! " To see things as they should (or could) be " -- that ideology has its place I think! But my idealism never came to fruitation -- never did, and never will. And it's over. I just associate dark clouds and death with them now. That is being realistic -- that's all there is with them for me -- they refuse to " release " me from their definition of me -- they refuse to stop using me as a scapegoat. If I go near them -- them embrace me with their poisonous assumptions and misbeliefs about me. It reminds me of stories I've read in mythology, etc.! Now I know why they had such glum fairy tales -- when people in the past couldn't get away from their destructive foo life was a real horror story. Thank God I'm getting out of the horror story, one day at a time. Barb T. Quote
