Guest guest
I just have a dear friend who in October of 2003 had his carotid (is that how you spell it) operated on. He had it done on a Wednesday and on Sunday he was sitting up, dressed in jammies, doing cross word puzzles, chatting and smiling. He did very well and was told to use Vitamin E on the scar. Then he had his aorta valve replaced the next Monday. He did very well and has had a wonderful outcome. Please do not be afraid. Oh a, I am so, so sorry to hear of your continuing challenges with the anemia. I am also so ANGRY with the doctor for her rude and uninformed comments on your weight! How insensitive of her and how typical (still) of doctors blaming our problems on our weight. I was told my back pain would be immensely helped by losing weight, but unfortunately it really hasn't helped an appreciable amount. When WILL they wake up and smell the coffee -- obesity isn't the cause of EVERYTHING wrong with us! I wish I had the power to help. I'm praying for you and holding you in my heart. Hugs and blessings, Ann
