Guest guest
Hello Phil Your right that pain meds do not make us high. I realize the terms used to describe long term use of opiates is a very sensitive issue for many. So I think that it is best to leave the subject as is. You are right that using certain descriptions or meanings can be taken out of context by people who are ignorant as to the important part these drugs play in the day to day function of people with chronic pain. But these type of people will always be there because they have no idea as to what we have to go through just to make it through the day. Be Well... I happen to enjoy reading all that Phil has to say. He keeps me very informed and i've saved many of his posts to refer to later. I like the way he gives us real interpretations of the terms used by Drs and friends. The explanation of the terms makes it a lot clearer in my mind, and better to give a defence to anyone that challenges the facts. > But these type of people will always be there because they have no > idea as to what we have to go through just to make it through the day. Yes they will. Which isn't a problem to me either. I don't want to know what Phil says just for them. I want to know for my own benefit. My own education. Which is what this list is all about to me.
