Jo,

What if one adds a LOT of milk to ones coffee - ala latte at

Starbucks? Or do you think it doesn't much matter if you add calcium

to your caffeine?

Looking for validation to continue my Starbucks habit! LOL!!

Lee,

Speaking as someone who no longer stupidly washes down my calcium

with my Starbucks and has it with sparkling water instead..my

calcium and PTH levels are now fine *grins* I haven't stopped

drinking coffee/Starbucks...I just don't take my calcium with it

anymore lol...

Believe me, I was at a meeting when Jo told me this, so I asked Dr K

who did confirm we shouldn't take our calcium with anything

caffeinated...

Needless to say, he did give me the 'Well now I know why HER calcium

was low and her PTH was high!' look *grins*

*hugs*

I had no idea!! I have been washing my calcium down with coke!! (no lectures

thanks Jo!)

I really need to kick this habit - although I am starting to think I may need to

check into a health farm for a week of detox to do it!!!!!
