Guest guest
Glad to hear some good news after the not so good. Ain't it wonderful to buy clothes off the rack? Hugs! Tracey > Hi Kids!! > > Normally I hate, loathe and despise shopping. Why?? Because nothing ever fit or as a fat chick, I could never find anything in a store. I was so used to buying things from mail order that I don't really have a frame of reference of walking into a store and buying off the rack. The few store that did carry clothes in my size usually had nauseating colors or prints that you wouldn't wear normally, but you were so desperate for clothes that you swallowed your pride and bought the whole lot. Ahhhhh the good old days....NOT!!

Banks - Mission Viejo, CA ____________________________________________________ Isn't it fun?? But I can co -miserate with you on the pannie thing. It does make finding clothes that fit a challenge. I found tghat pleated front pants hide a lot of pannie. People who never depended on catalogs for clothes will ever understand buying he largest size in the book and praying that it fits when it arrives, and how dissappointed you are when they run smaller and don't fit. Especially if your ordering for a special occasion and then it doesn't fit and you struggle to find a replacement fast.... I haven't bought many clothes post op, mainly because of money....I have tried on a lot of stuff. The belly is still my biggest problem right now. I have a consult for a pannie in May....I really want\to get the arms done 1st though... Hopefully insurance will cooperate..... You've almost caught me, I wear 20, 22, and a few 24's(depending on style) Mostly 22's right now....And you have a kindred spirit who is discovering the joy of finding clothes off the rack....Just think before long, you'll be saying Goodbye to 's, Roaman's and the specialty shops and hello to a whole new set of stores. I've found for cheap decent clothes, Wal mart has lots of bargains in their clearance racks....So far most of what I've seen at K-mart and other stores have been crap....I wish I knew wether to get some pants that actually fit or will have to wait until the pannie.... and back to the wearing clothes until they fall off of you....My eayes were opened in a Wal Mart of all places. Sometime last fall...I had lost 100 lbs and it was still warm outside. I had on a pair of shorts and a big top.....I was trying on clothes and was trying to figure out what size was right, when I finished, I looked at what I was wearing and how bad it looked on me....I was wearing size 32 womens clothes(5X) on my size 26 frame(2X-3X) Do I have to tell you I looked like a bag lady? ...LOL. Get thee some clothes that fit girl!!! in Bama VBG 1982 (lost from 433lbs to 270's) VBG -RNY1996 revision(Lost from 343 to 299) RNY-DS revision Dec 2002 -down 135 lbs (377.7 to 242.2 and still going) Homepage address- http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/myhomepage/profile.html Many thanks to Dr. K willing to take on a 3rd timer....LOL
