Guest guest Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Hi Lesley, Good for you! I'm glad you learned what could be causing your EN and got the tests. Now you will start to take the meds for Alpha-1 AT Deficiency right? And from what I read, that will be enough to keep you well. Looks like we have another " cured member " ! Two in one Day! and Both from Australia! Let me know how you are doing with the treatment and how long it takes for the pann.to clear up. As far as ulcerations are concerned, take a look at our Ulcers and Wound Care Links and the File called Pyoderma Gangrenosum Forum. PG ulcerates, and wound care is a big topic in those files. I would like to put you on our " Resources Members " list for A1AT Deficiency. We rarely mention it, and while it is a " long shot " it CAN be the key to recovery :-) Best of luck for a Full Recovery!!! Love, Quote

Guest guest Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Dear , I think it is only a matter of time before you get the meds to address the Alpha-1 AT Deficiency and go into permanent remission. Then you will be a Cured Member! I'll be looking forward to it! Love, Quote

Guest guest Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Hi Dot! Here on this group site, we have a section " Links " . . . the info about wounds is under " Ulcers and Wounds. " You could do your own google (or what have you) search for wound care. Hope this helps! M > > > > Hi Lesley, > > Good for you!
