Guest guest
Then I will have the procedure the first week of July... and then... I will be in Delano/Bakersfield in August. Yeah! Sorry this is long, but I am scared. Betsy -------------------------- Betsy Yeaaaaaa!!!! you only have to do one side!!!! And with the DS you shouldn't re-build the blockage!!!!!! What a blessing that the blockage has been found BEFORE strokes!!!!!!! I understand your dread and fear....but it could be soooo much worse. Until I see you in August (yippeeeee!!!) I'm hugging you with all my heart. Jo

What a wonderful gift a newborn is! Hugs and blessings, Ann
Guest guest
You're in my prayers Betsy! My dad had a stroke when he was in his 70's and though he recovered 98%, it was still a very scary situation so I totally understand your decision to have this surgery. Hugs! Tracey > Well.. looks like I will be having my right internal carotid artery reemed out instead of a boob job.. What a bummer... Saw a vascular surgeon today.. the blockage is 80-90%. The other side is ok. Where did this come from? I have to keep talking to my self that this is not " my " fault. I can still do shame and self blame real well. After all I did have the DS to get rid of a pile of co- morbidities, and have had great lipid numbers, etc., and now this. I would rather be dead than have to live with the consequences of a stroke--- I am a very retired physical therapist and don't like what I saw. . So I am trying to look at this as I did the DS- what are the risks of doing it vs the risk of not doing it. I chose correctly with the DS.. so. At least I can go to Oklahoma for 3 weeks in June to be the new baby nursie. Then I will have the procedure the first week of July... and then... I will be in Delano/Bakersfield in August. Yeah!
