Cindee,

Do you have a Longs drug store anywhere close. I went to Bakersfield

and Got Ferrous Sulfate Fe-Tabs which are 325mg{Elemental Iron 65mg}

another thing dr.k and the rest tell me if we take orange juice with

the pill it will absorb better. Also to wait at least 30mins before

taking your calisum after taking or before taking your iron.

I only take 1 aday, and by the way your poop will be a different

color..lol

Good luck and God bless

Pat

Walgreen's carried a soft gel Iron fumerate preperation. It's tgheir

brand and I bought it when they had their vitamins on sale it was 2 bottles for

3.99. Our other drug stores had the time release only and it was going to be 27

dollars for 100 pills. Big difference.

When I had my last check up I stopped downstairs and bought the iron fumerate

that Dr. K & Z asked the pharmacy to carry. The red square pills. I find them

easier to take than the ferrous sulfate that I was taking. But I can't find

it anywhere up here. It was cheap at $4.00 a bottle I am going to ask a few

places if they can special order it for me.

I'll let you know.. in WA

have been able to get them at Save Mart pharmacies, Wal Greens and at

the local drug stores in Delano as well. Walgreens had to order them

but we got them the next day, the nice thing is they are pretty cheap

but insurance doesnt cover them.
