Hi Everyone:I am trying to get an answer on an expedited appeal that was sent to Cigna last week. The only number available is a general 800 number, and I keep getting misdirected and different information from everyone I speak with. Would anyone have an "inside" number that may help me out? Thanks.Diaen IMPORTANT NOTICE: This communication, including any attachment, contains information that may be confidential or privileged, and is intended solely for the entity or individual to whom it is addressed. Guest guest
Hi : Thanks for your response. Yes, the patient has a case manager, but she says she has nothing to do with the appeals process and cannot help unitl our appeal has a favorable outcome. I literally spent all afternoon trying to get an answer. This is a very sick child who needs treatment quickly and we requested an expedited appeal. It was sent to them last Monday, and they were required to answer within 72 hours. We have received every excuse possible, and I am more than a little frustrated. The patient's mom, and myself, were literally making calls until almost 6:00 this evening. I guess I will just try again in the a.m. and refuse to get off of the phone until a supervisor gets involved. Thanks. Guest guest
You might want to try Farhat @ 952 736-3371. I am not sure what her current title is, but I know that we had spoken to her in the past regarding contract issues. If she cannot help you, she might at least be able to steer you in the right direction. a Summa Global Accounts Manager P. 407 200-2542 Ext 6193 F. 407 838-2146 From: TxFinancialCoordinators [mailto:TxFinancialCoordinators ] On Behalf Of dianeftcdukepeds Sent: Monday, April 09, 2007 8:25 PM To: TxFinancialCoordinators Subject: Re: Cigna Contact??
