Guest guest
Spread taking your calcium out...your body will absorb only about 500 mg at a time. You need vit. D to absorb calcium. Don't take Iron at the same time. They will bind together and you won't get the benefit. Foods containing oxalates will bind with calcium and you will poop it out. (note: this can be good to help prevent kidney stones but your losing some calcium benefit...so if your diet is high in oxalates consider taking more calcium) Salt (Sodium) This is the most common cause of such calcium loss through the urine. Caffeine This is the second most common cause of calcium loss through the urine. Caffeine interfere with the absorption of calcium and decreases bone mass. Carbonated drinks contain phosphorus which interfere with the absorption of calcium and draws calcium out of bones (This one is debated but if your low on calcium why risk it) Over 200 degenerative diseases and medical conditions have been linked to calcium deficiency. Among them are: Alzheimer's Disease Angina Arteriosclerosis Arthritis Bone Spurs Cancer Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Diabetes Eczema Fibromyalgia (are your ears Perked Mel?) Gallstones Gout Headaches Heart Disease Hiatal Hernia High Cholesterol Hypertension Joint Pain Kidney Stones Lupus Muscle Cramps Osteoporosis Frequent hives, chronic fatigue, canker and cold sores, muscle cramps (Charlie Horses), and itchy skin may all be symptoms of calcium deficiency.
