My parents subscribed to the Church of the Larger Fellowship for a

while, but I think their reasons were less than spiritual. It gave

them another excuse not to go out and actually interact with anybody.

I looked at their site, it looks very positive. It isn't their

fault that my parents chose that option to increase the isolation of

us kids.

I can imagine that the Church of the Larger Fellowship could be used

to supplement attendance at a local church, where you could worship

with your neighbors even if you don't share all of their ideas.
