Sylvia, thanks for the link about emotional blackmail. When I read

the first part it didn't relate to my life, either with Nada (in the

present) or with my wife. The second part, about silent blackmail,

is spot on about my wife. I now have a list of things to try, and I

realize that I was doing most of the wrong things to try to deal with

it.
