Guest guest
- I'm with you, I love the song The Dance - Although I've never heard Garth's version, I have the jazz version done by Dave Koz. I think we can all relate especially to the "I could have missed the pain" part ---something I'd love to have go away. Here's my favorite section. And now I'm glad I didn't knowThe way it all would endThe way it all would goOur lives are better left to chanceI could have missed the painBut I'd of had to miss the Dance Peggy

Guest guest
I agree, music is an incredible messenger, even if it is open to individual interpretation. My own personal all time favorite is "Satisfaction" by the Stones. The song in itself has no outward meaning, but I have always utilized it as sort of a self motto, and not being satisfied has always been a driving force in my life. On to a song that more relates to feeling "low" and one that does carry a meaning is "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. The words jump out of the speakers and into your mind. This is one potent song, and one that has literally helped me along at times. I highly recommend this song to anyone feeling "in the dumps". Listen to it, it can't hurt.
