Guest guest Report post Posted January 1, 2006 As with anything else, it can take awhile for the KT to get going. Try again. I find that the ones I decant into soda bottles along with a couple strawberries open like a bottle of champaigne. Guest guest Report post Posted January 2, 2006 About 6 months ago a bacteriologist wrote in and said that he felt the brew didn't need that much air, so he capped it and that increased the CO2. Try it; the brew just needs 10 percent air. What I do is take off the cap once a day to give it some air and to see how it's doing - the rest of the time it stays capped.
