Hi

We don’t do Prevnar, but our

practice is an example for tetanus – we have only given 3 doses to

Decavac since 11/1/08. At least Sanofi Pasteur agreed to pay for the shipping

back to them since they sent us “short-dated” vaccine (expired less

than 6 months from when they shipped it).

I would LOVE it if we could buy ANY AND

ALL vac’s in single doses. That way when a patient says, “I need x

vaccine” – then I schedule it for next week, order 1 dose, and can

give it to them.

inability to get vaccines in small supplies has forced many of us to make the

difficult decision not to carry children's vaccines in our offices at all, which

hampers good patient care by forcing parents to jump through extra hoops (going

And, also, that the inability to get vaccines in small supplies has forced many of us to make the difficult decision not to carry children's vaccines in our offices at all, which hampers good patient care by forcing parents to jump through extra hoops (going to the Health Dept) to get their children vaccinated.---Sharlene
