I think my fascination with odd foods helps me with weight control. I

love vinegar-sweet combinations. Remember when I was hooked on

coconut? Fatty and fibrous, so not too many calories.

Anyway, my current love, sweet pickles, seem to satisfy my craving for

strong flavors and since I only eat about three small pickles, then

stop, well, that isn'T very many calories.

There are no sweet pickles as we know them here in England. Sigh. On

the ship last night they had cranberry sauce. My mouth is watering

with the memory...
