My brag is that yesterday I forced myself on my usual day off to an hour of floor ab exercises and yogal. It may not seem like much, but I have been struggling to find a way to wean myself off the 3 cardio-kickboxing classes a week because of my shoulder. I'm almost positive it is the class, not taebo, that is hurting my shoulder. Instead of ab, kickboxing and yoga classes on Tues., I did taebo on Tues. and then abs and yoga on Thurs. I really did not want to do anything on my day off yesterday, but I followed all of your advise. I said " just do 10 min. of abs and some stretches. " The trick worked! I got in all the yoga and ab work I needed once I started. Elena

My mission in life right now is to find a pair of jeans that actually *fit* from my waist to my ankles! LOL! It seems 'mission impossible' so far! Great brag, ! My brag for today: I'm down another pound. That's 37 pounds gone now! My family and friends are concerned I'm not eating enough. I weigh 128, not 98! LOL! Have a great weekend everyone! Guest guest
Umm, I really don't have a " real " brag but I can always come up with something! Hehe I guess I will brag that despite the fact that I am 12 lbs heavier than I was when I first joined this group I continue to be completely excited about working out. As far as losing weight goes, yes, I pretty much counter my nice strong workout with eating terribly (but no choc covered pretzels since the challenge)and that ultimately cancels my workout out (in terms of dropping lbs) but I simply don't care! I am working on finding some balance and not being so much of a stress eater but until I fix that, I'm not going to cry about it! So, today I brag that I am at a point in my life when I work out just because I enjoy it so much! I LOVE putting my workout clothes on and having a nice punchout with my bag! I love getting my duffle bag packed and heading off to the gym! I can't believe this is me! It's important to want to be healthy but for me being happy about getting there is a MUCH bigge! r deal. I think I had a decent workout week despite some setbacks. Not as much as usual, but I tried real, real hard :-) Sat-Ran 5 miles got rained out and couldn't finish last three. Came home drenched and freezing. Muscles too tight to do anything but abs. Sun-Taebo Basic 7, A Austin Tape (just cuz) and 15 min of abs. Mon-The Firm Hare, walked a mile, abs Tue-Off (I didn't feel so hot and I needed it, I think it was the rain) Wed-Taebo New Advanced 1, 10 min on the bag, 10 min of jump roping and 10 min of abs (the 10 min on the bag were great and I'm still a little sore), walked one mile Thu-Ran 4 miles (was going for 10) and the treadmill started smoking (long story), grabbed my headphones, tried to go to the track, but it started raining half way there, came back, did Mina Lessig's Strength and Grace, Abs, Yoga Fri-Firm Cross Trainers Cardio -so far- will do more if we end up not going to a party tonight. (I hope not because I applied self tanner which looks great except I messed up my hands. I now have freak hands.) Even with the elements against me, sore muscles and mechanical mishaps, I think I did ok for this week. I did pretty good diet wise as well. 'Cept for today. I'm baking my honey a cake as tomorrow is his birthday :-) a Check out our website at: http://members.truepath.c\ om/Crabtrees/home.html The very best antique company in Texas http://www.antiqueservices.net
Guest guest
That's fantastic for all of you! It's good to see little goals turn into great achievements! My only brag for this week is a) I am still going strong on the 21 day challenge, I live the taebo live set. I don't own a scale (thanks goodness!) so I can't tell if I have actually lost any weight since last Saturday but I can say I feel great. I'm in the same boat in terms of losing a few pounds! I eat whatever I want and justify it because I am working out! The good news is that I'm able to eat a TON of food and maintain my weight....LOL! But, it can be frustrating sometimes because I know that if I just made some smarter choices, I could drop the few pounds that I want too! But, like you....I'm not stressing out about it and that's a huge accomplishment in and of itself! I know this is a huge accomplishment for you and I'm glad that you have gotten to the point where exercise is something you do because you enjoy it
