Thank you all for sharing your loved ones information. We are

learning so much from you.

I have a question/thought. My father in law has been in a deep deep

sleep for about three weeks and is currently hospitalized with an

infection. His temperature keeps fluctuating between normal and 102.

We are waiting to see the results of the cultures to see what they

are finding as proof of the infections. Does the disease itself

effect the processes that regulate the immune systems of the body? I

suddenly wondered if the Lewy bodies can interfere with the

autonomic functioning of the central nercous system such as

breathing and body temperature, etc.

Does anyone have any information. He is down to 140ish in weight,

has been treated with several antibiotic, is refusing to eat,

mumbles when asked questions, has not been out of bed for three

weeks and cannot do anything on his own now. He is 88 years old,

diabetic, has been treated for 's disease, and has gone

downhill rapidly since February. He was not experienced the

hallucinations that we know of, but he has the Parkinson's symptoms.

I would appreciate anything you might be able to share
