Yes, i began to get really dry skin on my shoulder which i've never had a problem with, i began to put flax seed oil onto my skin (i broke open a capsule) as i have heard that exposing flax seed oil to air for more than a few minutes at a time can degrade it quickly. Anyways i have an excellent site you may want to check out about a lady who had Exema for something like 50 yrs until she finally cured herself using flax seed oil, primrose and another fatty omega oil.

http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/1158/FLAXOIL.HTM

and also these ones which are just really interesting.

http://home.online.no/~dusan/cleanse/bowel/bentonite.html

http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/1158/URINE.HTM - ps. dont' let the name scare you from just taking a look at the site, i bought the book "Your own perfect Medicine" by Martha Christy recently and its really really interesting, lots of info.

I hope these help, good luck on your quest!!

Hi,

I have been battling a skin condition from child hood. I have done colon cleanse, and parasite cleanses. When I did the parasite cleanse, I was on an herbal program for about 6 months and killed A LOT of visible parasites. It was quite shocking that I had been home to so many critters. I have recently built a zapper from the instructions in Dr. Hulda 's "A Cure for all Diseases" It cost about $25.00 in parts from radio shack. It has been clearing up my lingering skin problems (the Dr.s label it topical dermatitis, which to me means they have no idea what the heck it is!) But my skin gets dry and brittle to the point that at times my knuckles are unusable because the skin has no elasticity in it to bend. If I bend the joint, then the skin breaks and I have a bloody split in my skin that is quite deep at times. Anyway, the zapper is clearing this up as well as my sinuses.

When I was searching the web for info on the zapper I ran across a

website that explained how to build one. Is that what you used to

build yours and was it easy? Looks a bit complicated to me.

Thanks,

Have you cut out all dairy products?

Have you cut out all red meats and antibiotic, hormone filled meats?

Start there is you have not done this.

The flaxseed oil is a good anti-inflammatory, but only if you cut out the

saturated fats that promote inflammation in the first place.

It might be the same one. I just followed her directions for building a circuit board and put it together. Got the parts from Radio Shack.

My daughter get eczema when she has eaten a food that she is allergic to.

The enzymes help TREMENDOUSLY for this.

If she already has the eczema, then I put a cream on it that has

cortisone (sp?). This is available WITHOUT a prescription at the

drugstore. I would much rather prevent the eczema with the enzymes than

treat it with the cortisone (the cortisone is a steroid, I think).

I know what you mean! Yesterday (while I was on the phone) for some

reason (!) my daughter put the cereal on the floor and crunched each ball

of cereal. (At least it is easier to clean up than all those tickets!)

boy, whenever I see the word " eczema " , I get all these nasty memories

that come back....

my son had really bad red cheeks when he was just 2 1/2 months old...so

bad, that they started " oozing " ...he was so allergic to the casein he

actually developed a staph infection on his cheeks. At the time, I had

no clue about his autism or casein sensitivity...but, worse, he saw 5

doctors for his staff infection...that was how bad it was...could have

killed him had it spread to his brain...I had to fight to even have him

seen (HMO/PPO)... they wanted me to wait till morning...I insisted he be

seen that evening...when he was seen in immediate care by 2 doctors, he

was put as a direct admin to emergency (doctor no. 3)...and placed on

antibiotics of course....he was then seen by another doctor who released

him (doctor no. 4). Two days after release, he was seen by his own

pediatrician (doctor no. 5)... diagnosis of all... bad eczema....they

ALL MISSED IT! I was given an ointment, his " facial mask " as I called

it....to " clear up the redness " whenever it showed up...that this was

" just the way he was " ....not one of them ever suspected a food

allergy....it took another 2 years for us to figure out Zachary was

autistic. Looking back, just the fact that I was given a prescription

for ONE YEAR supply of ointment should have tipped me off .... so,

whenever I see a post about " eczema " , it is just a little to personal

for me not to share " our story " with that one...

make sure you know for sure it is eczema....and that you're not simply

" masking " a problem, as we did. Once Zachary's diet was changed, he

never showed that " eczema " again!

I have heard it can be due to needed probiotics, especially the

bifidum, and also omega-3 fatty acids. There are probably some other

things, but those two seem to stand out.

For one of my kids, it means he ate a " bad food " . Some kids need EFAs

like flax seed oil or evening primrose or something like that. When

another of my kids has a yeast issue, he gets a rash. Lots to

consider.

The removal of dairy took away 80% of my son's previously horrific

eczema. The removal of gluten helped take away the remaining 20%.

Good luck!

Some people on the sensory integration board reported that the epsom

salt baths helped with their children's eczema issues. Also, try an

Elimination Diet to see what food is causing it.

And while both my kids do not have full blown eczema, they do get dry

skin patches in various places, and the EFA's have helped both of

them as well. If I remember to give the EFA's, or at least rub on

their back at bedtime, then the dry patches go away.

I do or did should I say, the eczema has gone with EFA supps and enzymes. We

are no longer CFGF. I used to add Virgin Coconut Oil to the bath at the same

Thanks!

What is the protocol for EFA's? 4-1 GLA to ALA?

Also, what enzymes are you using?

Hi

We use Eye Q which is 4:1 ratio 3's to 6's, but we added 6' s to start,

nowadays I add further EPO (50mg GLA) once or twice a week, my son seems to

need this.

www.equazen.com

We use all three enzymes from HNI www.houstonni.com

For further info on enzymes see

www.enzymestuff.com (I love that addy - its so easy to remember)

Good luck!

Thanks so much for sharing this info, Jen! My wiggle worm - Nolan -

has pretty bad eczema. We have been using a Eucerin/HC mixture on him

for months, but now that doen't even seem to be working. His worst

spots are his lower, front legs, forehead and behind his ears. I've

been worried that the band will just aggrevate it, too.

I was just saying I was going to take him to the derm - I will try

these suggestions, first!

Thanks again!
