Guest guest
<< That's great !!! Hearing stories like that can't help but be motivating! >> I hope it is motivating, Janick, because I *never* thought I'd be where I am, physically or mentally. I know it sounds cliche, but I swear, if I can do this, anyone can. Before Tae Bo, I couldn't walk across the front yard without being out of breath. I was depressed and felt worthless. I am a very slow loser too so sticking with it wasn't always easy, but I made up my mind that I was worth the effort, and it has paid off. What I'm most proud of is that I never gave up, even when it seemed hopeless. I've never committed to anything for this long before. I feel like I finally have my life back :-)

I'm thinking of switching to 4 days per week with weight training on my off days >> Thanks ! I think if you're getting burned out, you should cut back. My problem is that I do too much, get burned out, then stop working out all together for a couple of weeks. It's more beneficial for me to work out 3 to 4 times per week and then I don't get tired and stop. It took me a long time to figure it out, but exercise should be fun and enjoyable, not torture. Good luck with your new workout schedule!

Guest guest
I will thanks Monse Janick, he changed a few different things, he was eating out at work every day for lunch. Now he has been just eating fruit (I have told him he needs to eat more!), he switched to diet soda, and I havn't been keeping as much baked goods in the house for him to easily munch on... I think that is about it. He used to also each morning get a roll for breakfast on his way to work. I'm not sure if he omitted that one or not. I will have to ask tonight Ya want to know his main reason for losing weight... So, he doesn't break his tree stand this fall when he hunts, as he was pushing the max before!! Lol... hey, whatever works.. Darcy who's husband fell 30 feet from a bucket truck at work and broke his pelvis 3 days before our wedding, in which EVERYTHING was called off and rescheduled.... -- In tae-bo_on@y..., " Tallec, Montserrat " <mtallec@N...> wrote: > Congratulate your hubby on my behalf, 15 pounds is quite a lot... > > > ---------- > > From: taebo_spirit@h...[sMTP:taebo_spirit@h...] > > Reply To: tae-bo_on@y... > > Sent: May 16, 2001 9:15 AM > > To: tae-bo_on@y... > > Subject: Re: A brag :-) > > > > Wow, that is wonderful!!! OUCH!!!!! He fell 30 ft!! Man that must have hurt. Ha his reasons for dieting would be something my boyfriend would do! What does he hunt? Deer? And who has to clean it <G>. My boyfriend and I hunt pheasant and quail with our Vizsla(him with a gun and me with my camera)...but the rule is he has to clean them!! It also took me a whole year to get up enough nerve to touch them to put them in his bird pouch! Now we have wings in the freezer for training and I don't even gross out anymore when I see them. My boyfriend's brother puts the heads of the animals he gets in one of his freezers cuz " one day he is going to mount them " YUK YUK YUK...until " one day " comes around, they are all in their outdoor freezer. Just wait until we get those rolling blackouts from the energy crisis out here...boy is that gonna be a doozy of a smell!!!
