I hope it is motivating, Janick, because I *never* thought I'd be where I am,

physically or mentally. I know it sounds cliche, but I swear, if I can do

this, anyone can. Before Tae Bo, I couldn't walk across the front yard

without being out of breath. I was depressed and felt worthless. I am a

very slow loser too so sticking with it wasn't always easy, but I made up my

mind that I was worth the effort, and it has paid off. What I'm most proud

of is that I never gave up, even when it seemed hopeless. I've never

committed to anything for this long before. I feel like I finally have my

life back :-)

Thanks ! I think if you're getting burned out, you should cut back.

My problem is that I do too much, get burned out, then stop working out all

together for a couple of weeks. It's more beneficial for me to work out 3 to

4 times per week and then I don't get tired and stop. It took me a long time

to figure it out, but exercise should be fun and enjoyable, not torture.

Good luck with your new workout schedule!

Wow, that is wonderful!!! I'm so very happy for you. And, I'm

also happy that you are accepting the fact that 3 - 4 times working

out is ample enough for your body.. that's a big step, something I

need to do myself :)

I will thanks Monse :) Janick, he changed a few different things, he

was eating out at work every day for lunch. Now he has been just

eating fruit (I have told him he needs to eat more!), he switched to

diet soda, and I havn't been keeping as much baked goods in the house

for him to easily munch on... I think that is about it. He used to

also each morning get a roll for breakfast on his way to work. I'm

not sure if he omitted that one or not. I will have to ask tonight :)

Ya want to know his main reason for losing weight... So, he doesn't

break his tree stand this fall when he hunts, as he was pushing the

max before!! Lol... hey, whatever works..

Darcy who's husband fell 30 feet from a bucket truck at work and

broke his pelvis 3 days before our wedding, in which EVERYTHING was

called off and rescheduled....

OUCH!!!!! He fell 30 ft!! Man that must have hurt. Ha his reasons for

dieting would be something my boyfriend would do! What does he hunt? Deer?

And who has to clean it <G>. My boyfriend and I hunt pheasant and quail

with our Vizsla(him with a gun and me with my camera)...but the rule is he

has to clean them!! It also took me a whole year to get up enough nerve to

touch them to put them in his bird pouch! Now we have wings in the freezer

for training and I don't even gross out anymore when I see them. My

boyfriend's brother puts the heads of the animals he gets in one of his

freezers cuz " one day he is going to mount them " YUK YUK YUK...until " one

day " comes around, they are all in their outdoor freezer. Just wait until

we get those rolling blackouts from the energy crisis out here...boy is that

gonna be a doozy of a smell!!!

I'm not doing a " Wednesday " floorwork challenge, but I have made Sunday

morning my Abs & Glutes morning (might even throw in the Lord's name in for

good measure - LOL!). I've done it 5 consecutive Sundays and I see a

difference.

WOW!!!!! Congratulations :) I am so proud of you! You are a true

example of all the great things that can happen when you work hard

and never give up :) That's awesome that you found a routine that

works for you and that you have realized that more is not always

necessarily better! Way to go on the size 6's, too! And,

please....don't EVER feel bad about bragging :) It has been so great

to see your progress this past year or so and you deserve to brag!

Way to go! I am so happy for you :)

Way to go, ! I'm beginning to think that you " love " floorwork even

more than I do! Way to get it done! I don't have AL5 (and don't want any

parts of it) so I can't speak from experience but common sense tells me that

it's a pretty tough tape. It's pretty amazing how it's so much easier to get

that workout in when you are on a set schedule. Once again, big ups to

! Whatever that means! I heard my nephew say it in a congratulatory

fashion once. LOL

LOL...hey, I'll brag early! I just did AL5! Now, why is this a brag

you are asking? Because I usually work out in the morning and I was

going to do AL5 before I went to the gym this morning, but I ran out

of time! So, I told myself I would do AL5 this afternoon. Well,

that's always a big no-no with me because whenever I put off my

workouts until the afternoon...they usually never get done,

ESPECIALLY when that workout is AL5...LOL! But, I did it! It wasn't

pretty, but it's done :)

I didn't know you guys were still doing that challenge! If I remember

correctly somebody thought it would be a good idea to do it until the

end of 2000 and everyone swore they weren't doing it after that LOL!

Congrats on keeping up on the challenge!

My rest days are Sunday and Wednesday...hmmm maybe I was subconciously

avoiding the Wednesday challenge LOL!
