Good luck at the doc Gail and definitely let us know what you find

out. My rheumy prescribed folic acid as well and said it greatly

helps in combating the side effects of MTX. I'm glad to hear you

had a remission, not happy to hear you are not in remission

anymore. :-(

Folic Acid to take daily. My current doc didn't prescribe that for

me, so I need to call him and ask about this. I have just in the

last couple of weeks started having problems with fatigue. We

thought maybe it could have been because I was tapering on Pred, so

I need to check into this for myself.

of what I had read about it. At the time, I couldn't seem to get my

dose of Pred down and that was causing problems, as well. I even

went to another Rheumy in another city to get a second opinion, and

he also agreed that MTX should be the next step for me. So after a

lot of prayer, I decided to try it, and for me, it was what finally

got me back into remission. It was definitely worth it.

a long remission until this past July. I'm kind of like you, I

don't know what to do about the fatigue at this point, until I talk

to my doc. I have to go get my MTX injection tomorrow morning and I

will see if the nurse can ask him for me. As always, I'm sure

everyone reacts differently.

HI ,

I find if I take my MTX Sunday night before bed, I sleep off most of

the yuck. I have had the occasional depression Mondays, but the are

definately not every week. Folic Acid is my best friend...lol I

find if I miss I notice very soon after and then take it and am

fine.

It has helped me a lot so I hope it works for you.

More soon guys, I miss you!!
