Guest guest Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 Carolyn, Well, I called my Phamacist and double checked about the Salsalate, He told me it is NOT the generic form of Relafen. I too took Relafen many years ago. To avoid "stomach burnout" from meds. such as Relafen, Celebrex etc. be sure to "sandwich" the med with food. Eat something..take the med. and eat more, Also do not lie down for at least 1/2 hour after taking the med. This really does help. From Wisconsin, Tricia P.S.
