Guest guest
My dad didn't have hallucinations they way we usually think of them - but he did get mixed up about things that happened (that didn't and vice virsa). I think in some way he hallucinated these things. Like he would think some old friend stopped by yesterday when he didn't Or one time he called my uncle and told him my neice had died ! Yikes Also my Dad's PK symptoms were pretty atypical - no tremor just movement problems shuffling etc. Is she sensitive to things like cough meds and benedryl ? Used to send Dad for LOOP. HUGS donna Cg to Dad who passed April 14, 2004 > > Well - I started checking out some of the information that was sent to me off-list and initially found this from the LBD Association: > > Three main symptoms of Lewy Body Dementia: > 1. Used to send Dad for LOOP. ********************** Anything with Benadryl is a no-no for any type of dementia. Benadryl is anti-cholinergic. carol
