Here it is in point form: -its huge so I can wheel mom around when she has her anxiety -there are many choices of food during all meals and the staff are great -the volunteer and activation team are great - they invited us to so many events today - we did go to the rosary reading at the chapel seeing as mom hasn't been able to go to church for some time now - Mom remembered all the prayers and songs! -They have so much garden space and balconys for families to visit in - we did this afternoon -They have a tuck shop, tea room, cafeteria for families and a pub! -Mom is in a two person room and the lady who shares this room with her is never in it so it feels as though mom has her own room. -There are so many lounge areas to choose from -They have central air and mom has a window in her room all her own....Yippee for sun worshipers like me -The staff are great, never had to ask for diaper or wait for some strip to turn another colour - the diapers were everywhere. -The staff gave mom a shower as soon as she got in and offered help all day and washed her down when changing her into her pj's. .....well, there's tons more thats great but I'm so exhausted right now and will right more soon. Thanks all for your positive thoughts and prayers...I believe they made all the difference in getting mom somewhere safe and nice.
