I don't know if KT gets rid of lymes. I do think it kills some of

the spirochettes. I am fairly sure I herxed from it.

There are so many opinions, such little research, medical ignorance

is HUGE and I hate to say - includes deliberate coverups. It took me

the last 4 years of Drs., expensive tests and misdiagnoses to find

it. Standard screening tests doc's use miss it more often than they

find it. (I had 2 of them) Very few Drs even know about it or how to

treat. This because the longer you have had it the less it shows up

on tests. There are 2 labs in CA that I hear do a good job of

finding it with immune response tests. One lab in FL actually

detects the bacteria in blood but the test is waiting for FDA

approval so insurance doesn't cover and doc's can disregard results.

Antibiotics are a common treatment if you can get them. Long term is

recommended by Lyme literate doc's, daily for years. But some think

this does not kill all. It can hide and survive the assult. Some say

they get better for a while but it comes back. Many have terrible

stories about the drugs causing many problems, especially yeast &

digestion. It should be soberly considered.

Diet is huge. A proper diet may be all we need for good health. But,

each of us has to discern what that is. It is definitely not the

S.A.D. (standard american diet). I'm learning too.

There is a protocol for salt (sea/natural NOT table salt) and

vitamin c that works for many, see www.lymephotos.com and lyme

strategies yahoo group. I am doing this. Some use adjuncts like

Samento (a TOA free cats claw) and other supplements. Lymes often

brings with it coinfections that have to be delt with too. It is

complicated but it can be understood. You have to do your own

research, no Dr will tell you. Groups like this help. Check out Lyme

Associations. www.lymenet.org.

My suggestion is learn about it. Get a list of symptoms. There's a

good chance you, or someone close to you, has it. I personally think

it is something we live with but need to stay healthy to keep it in

check. When we are ill or stressed (happy or sad) or otherwise let

our biological guard down it hits. Sometimes it hits hard. MS,

Lupus, Arthritus, ADD, Chronic Fatigue, Migrains, Neuro, Mental...

the list goes on and on. What they call it depends on where it took

residence in your body. It can go anywhere in the body but

especially loves your head, spine and joints.

Herx reactions are die off effects. An accumulation in your body of

what you destroyed. It makes you toxic and can create more symptoms

than you had. This is not the time to abandon treatment but

recognize what is happening and work with it. Detox, back off or

stop treatment for a while as your body catches up. Go slow. Last

time I was in bed for nearly 2 weeks. It is no joke.

I consider KT part of my treatment.
