Guest guest
I know that in the long run, minerals will help... but in the short term, when my legs are cramping up painfully, quinine will stop the leg cramps within about a half hour or less. - Let's go OT with this thread group, but one last comment. Salt yes, but make it MAGNESIUM salt. This is the quickest protocol for relieving cramps [muscle seizures]. Best form is Magnesium Citrate. Don't do too much though or the symptoms will be similar to too much KT first time out. rusty Re: leg cramps I know that in the long run, minerals will help... but in the short term, when my legs are cramping up painfully, quinine will stop the leg cramps within about a half hour or less. Tonic water contains quinine, so when I need to, I just start drinking some (the diet version). Perhaps not the most healthy thing to drink, but it stops the cramps and the pain. > > I know eating banana's helps my husband with his leg cramps. Guest guest
Diet version isn't good. You want to stay away from artificial sweeteners. One reason is they help promote weight gain, but there are others reasons to stay away from it. TTFN Sue (au). Some people feel it doesn't matter where on the bed you put your bar of soap. Others say " put at the foot of the bed " . What did Melody do? I took 5 bars of soap, unwrapped them and put them all over the bed. Couldn't hurt AND MY BED SMELLED GREAT!!! ROFL Melody > > > Good. > > > > Let me know if it helps. Guest guest
You lucky girl, you! Unlike much of the conventional wisdom about such things, I think separate beds can be a lifesaver (not to mention sleepsaver!) for some relationships! Having a whole bed to oneself is indeed a luxury, not to be underestimated!! Enjoy your soaps, LOL!! And if you think I don't love that, you don't know me. Also he goes to sleep at 5 a.m. and gets up about 1 or so. The best is when he gets up at 4 p.m. and I serve him dinner for breakfast. But it works for us. He does't get leg cramps and I get them very rarely. Melody > > > > > Good. > > > > > > Let me know if it helps.
